Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.

I have been a lab dad most of my life.... today while sitting in my layers run, (all young girls going on 7 weeks old) two of my buff girls flew onto my lap. It was magical in a way. I could only think of Milan’s quote and the MANY hours I have spent with my bird dogs throughout my life.

If you Insert chickens for dog, there was no difference!

I can’t believe I am blessed by GOD with 14/14 pullets.....I guess i’ll Have to buy a rooster soon.....

Isn't it incredible when a non-human being decides to bond with you? It doesn't matter what the species, when they CHOOSE you, it feels amazing. Congratulations on such a beautiful experience!
