Alright, so I was out with the ducks this morning, and my drake was feeling particularly naughty today, and he kept following me around, tripping me and reaching up to bite my hands. He gets like this every once in a while, especially when he's bored. Anyway, after a few minutes of getting duck pinches, I had enough, so I flipped him over on his back to discipline him. While I had him in this position, I noticed a small bumble! It's on the little nub at the sort of "heel" of his foot. it's pretty small, but the little scab gave it away as bumble.

He has had no symptoms, is healthy and ornery, runs like nothing is wrong, and it does not seem painful as I had to touch it to check it out, and he gave no response. It is not red, and does not seem to be pus filled.

Given he has such a mild case, and it just so happens he was on anti-biotics a couple weeks ago because of a brief res. problem, what should I do to treat it? Should he go back on anti-biotics again, should I just clean it up? Have not dealt with bumble foot before, and his is so mild I hate to make it worse by messing with it. I would never even had known he had it, had I not had that chance look at it this morning.

Is there a diff course of treatment for mild bumblefoot like this?
