Milk - for Chickens?

I have read dairy products aren’t good for chickens as they are not mammals and unable to digest it well.

I've given one of mine yoghurt and a little buttermilk when she had gleet don't know if it helped but it did give her really loud gas.

Chickens with gas! That sounds so funny to me. Thanks for the laugh, I needed it! I give my girls yogurt once in awhile too. It's supposed to be really good for them.
