LaManchas have higher butterfat than the Swiss breeds, but not as much as Nubians. They are quieter than Saanens. Saanens give a lot of milk and they are friendly, but friendly like an obnoxious puppy, always in your face. Toggenburgs are a little more reserved. I like the look of Toggs myself but I love my LaManchas. A lot of people are freaked out by lack of ears, but when you look at them everyday, you get used to it.

Plus, LaManchas come in more colors than most Swiss breeds which usually are just one color or pattern (Alpines have more variety but still kinda limited).
