Do feed mills in your areas shut down in winter?

I thought I'd check this with you guys. It was something I suddenly realized could be a possibility for some areas up north, or if I move, or various possibilities.

I've been around animals most my life, but not till recently as the one actually in charge of having to get the feed myself, and so this wasn't something I had to address before now.

This year also has so much craziness also, that I am worried if something could make access to feed mills in winter difficult.

Feed mills operate year round. Given the present uncertainty it is probably a good idea to maintain several months supply of feed for the animals and food for the humans.

Feed mills are open all year long. In my area, they also provide the Country Farm Stores with feed.

So do you also have to worry about if feed bought from the mill in winter is fully dry?

I started to wonder this today because 2 days ago we had a huge wind storm and it blew the cover off one of my feed storage bins. Then I thought, I wonder about....

The feed mills in Central WI bag their feed. The ones I have visited keep their bags in a building, not outside.
