Thanks guys. He came from fattie. He's got these feathers that sort of wrap around the back of his hocks, but he's not fond of the camera, so getting a good pic is not so simple. Maybe I should bring him to a small show and see what judges have to say.
If he does in fact have vulture hocks, would it be wrong to breed him? I have a couple of his babies crossed on my Silkie hen, and their hocks look good. Both of those are pullets.
Are either of these any help? I couldn't get them to upload earlier.

Holy Moley! I wish I could get that pattern on my roos! He is another awesome bird.
You people are smokin' with these nice colored and patterned birds.

He has lovely coloring with no "excess" black in his hackles. The pattern on his chest is great~! It's hard for me to tell about the "vulture" hocks from the pics. All in all, I think he is a super boy.
I agree, he has alot more black in the chevrons on his chest than my boy.
That is a nice calico pullet beside him too!

I have got to work harder to catch up!
I can't take credit, good or bad, these are birds I purchased as chicks. Millie, my little broody mama, and Callie, the Calico in the pic came with the roo from Fattie here on BYC last June. Gotta give credit where it's due...

She has really nice birds looks wise and the temperments are just as nice.
If anyone is interested since my "bator" is filled I am offering a rare chance to get 12+ eggs from my project Bantam Mille Fleur Cochins and my project CRELE Cochins! This is a VERY rare chance to get eggs from these pens but I rather they not sit nor go to waste.
