Mille Cochin Info

I have waaaaay too many projects. My most serious ones are the Mottleds and MFs.
I have projects in Guineas, ducks and poultry. And someone just gave me 3 adult pair of peafowl. Like I didn't have enough to do.

WOW!!! I have enough. I like my Cochins and that good. I also do EE's and Ameraucana's but the live with the laying/ free range flock. My roosters are huge especially Q-Tip. But I none f them are as nice as my Cochins.

Beautiful pictures, Mike! That Remington gets more handsome every time I see him :) I'm so glad he takes such good care of the chicks. Everyone looks so happy :D

We all know I'm terrible for pics, but the roos look just like any other typical color (at least mine do)

I have a really cute (white) columbian and already rehomed BC, black mottled, etc....

Here are MF/Mottled roos I sold this past summer. Really nice but so close to all my existing bloodlines that I had nothing to put them back with.
Thank you, Bantyman for solving that problem! I now have a new bloodlined roo that looks the same coloring as these fellas I sold.

This is a F2 boy and I wish I could have kept him! He had super, super type!

Here is another I sold this summer.

Here is a roo I still have and is on my website...Schmoozle!

LOL Lynne, I sold him to a pet home, believe it or not.
He was quite expensive but the lady loves him so much! I tried to sell her another one instead but she pounced on this boy as soon as I put the ad up and refused to let him go. She doesn't live too far from me and I will see her at shows so I can ask her about him often.
I love his coloring and pattern but he was the end result from all I had put together and I would have had to breed him back to some very closely bred birds here. He already seemed small compared to my others and I feared losing a lot by breeding back in.
I never think to show on this thread what I have for sale since I really hate shipping birds. I sell local and do okay.

Thank you for the compliment on him!

I will tell her but she has just had fits over that boy and he is sweet, too.
I am betting you will wind up with some like that from your breedings with those Mottleds.
I have had a few but none quite as good as him. Made me mad when I could not find girls to cross him with but I may replicate it with the nice roo I got from Mike from the same hens.
Or from the MFC/Mottled hens from Mike crossed with Xavier, Royalle (new MFC roo) or Peanuts (another new MFC roo). I can't wait to see what I get from all of these!
