Oh I totally agree! Thats y these chicks are available. Some chicks are totally cochin, but a few stand out with lil longer tails and slender bodies... i hate the cross LOL. BUT beautifule colors!
I got rid of the D'uccle roo as well also. He went to a friend who lost her roo for her millie program.

I mostly own only cochins with 12 being calicos. The rest are mottleds, splashs, solids, barred, and a few mixed colors. I currently have 40-45 total. I also special ordered 2 doz hatching eggs that will hopefully provide silver laced, calicos, and blue calicos. And also have 51 eggs being sat on to hatch out.

Otherwise my roosters are cochins
1 blue splash, 1 light buff barred, 1 pure white, and 2 calicos.

Here are the newest chicks I hatched. I had 1 MF from my eggs (dark red/ brown) and the rest of the MF are from Lynne. I did hatch a good number of mottled lately.

Also, some more good news, Peppermint has layed eggs for the past 2 weeks now and hasn't missed a day.







And Chipper is hatching 11 eggs I set today.

Just 2 Oz who is MF roo and then Twister who is the baby pic in avatar--he has developed considerably more black now. I'll get pics this weekend--mine are never near as good as yours. Who is the roo in the 5 and 6 pic's? I dont remember seeing that one before.
