Beautiful Nancy!!! You have a lot of nice Cochins there. A couple in the background are very nice as well! THe yellow and black one in the back of this pic on the left is really pretty from what is seen of him. Who is that boy behind Rugar, he is nice as well? Motley is gorgeous!

I'll have to get better pics of Chipper and some of the others running around. Remington is finally giving me fertile eggs and I was getting a lot of chicks from him and Tuba until she went broody. I really want to try Remington and Tiffany for some calicos since Lynne's Manolette was Rem's papa! Hopefully I can get some nice ones.

The black and yellow boy is Freaky; the first chick I hatched with brown down.
I don't know if he'll be useable, but I'm going to grow him out and see how he ends up. His coloring is kind of reminescent of Ivan? Ivan was the last roo I set up in a breeding pen in the barn , I'll have to check my records (dates) and see if it's possible if Freaky is his.

I'm pretty happy with the pullets' coloring and patterns so far. I'd like to see them all have nicer Cochin heads, that's something I'm going to try to work on.

If you don't use Freaky and want to sell him- let me know. For some reason I'm hooked on that color. It does somewhat resemble Ivan's I think. Jr and Rudy are both beautiful boys!!

Spring has finally come though and I am Loving having only the youngest chicks in the house. The bigger ones are in a pen in the coop with 2 lights. More room for them and less mess for me!
