I have to admit, he was sooo well behaved considering how much I was tormenting him.

In the first pic, you can see he was just wakened up. He was not a happy camper but let me mess with him..

What a good boy, OOPS, I MEAN GIRL.. LOL

I think I got my boys all separated for a month or so. At least until the pigs are butchered anyways. But, I put Nigus in with Tiffany.

Max is the new ruler of my grow-out pen. I am hoping to find something for him soon. Maybe a blue hen or mottled. Something that would be fun to hatch from. I will probly put him with Tuba once her eggs hatch and they can raise them together.

Harry has all my hens in with him- Peppermint, Chipper, Sandy, Rugar. I can't get them to start laying again. I'm wondering if there going to be going into a molt. All my LF hens are. Chipper is the only one who finished hers.

And this little chick who hatched from Rem and Tiffany. This is the only chick I have ever hatched from Tiffany and it's a cockerel.

Has anybody here had a 3 month old cockerel beat the crap out of a 6 month old? I mean, Eli really puts the beat down on Rafael if Rafael gets so much as 3 feet near Eli's group of chicks.

Nope, usually the opposite for me, In fact, I have a mille I want to join with my other milles but one of my girls thinks she's Rambo and beats the Crap out of the new guys. any suggestions on how to resolve this and I mean SHE WILL NOT STOP... Even tried the separation thing. The poor new guys (a hen and a new rooster) just screams there little head off and comes running to me as if to say SAVE ME WOMAN!!. So very sad. Now the rooster won't bother any of the new comers but this one girl OMG, she's a killer I swear... You will probably see her in the paper soon for murder.. LOL Not me murdering her, Her murdering all new comers. Now she has 4 other girls in with her that's she's OK with plus the rooster but you bring in a new comer in OMG.. Its War Time..

I hatched a new baby this weekend from my Birchen Roo and B/W Mottled Hen....baby is black and yellow.
Anyhow, I wanted to share that my big MF rooster, Burke, met baby yesterday when I had it in the yard. He did not know what to think at first, but then decided he would talk with it and show it food on the ground! It was too stinking cute!! Even when the baby jumped up at his beak to check him out, he didn't run off or peck it! Just stood still and patient!
