Beautiful photos everyone! I need to have time to take pix of the ones I have left. Lately I have sold a lot of the MF that were not working out for me and I have some new ones growing up (always!).
I love looking at all your beauties on here!

It seems like a lot of people haven't been getting what they want from their MF's this past season. But, as you and many others have told me, that's why it's still a project. I would love some pics of what you have that you like though- and maybe some pics of Shazam if you have any yet?

Here's a pic of my new mille chicks that I just hatched from eggs from Karen (ki4got). Great hatch. Only two eggs didn't hatch (1 mottled and 1 mille) and 1 mille chick died a day after hatch. So I'm happy with what I do have and can't wait to see how they develop. Thanks Karen.

i'm curious. the chick that died, was it a blondie? I had one that was blonde/splash looking (which shouldn't happen in that pen) that also died at 2 days. the other 2 are doing well. (I set the first batch of eggs, of the 6 that I set, 4 were fertile 3 hatched, lost 1. they're 9 days old now.

No. It was darker than the rest ... and smaller. Cute chick, but I could tell while it was hatching that there were problems. I thought after it hatched and seemed alright that it was sorted out, but I guess not.

Funny funny Lynne. I prefer Mint just as much as her mother to be honest with you. Mint got to be my favorite I think because she almost died a month back or so. But, she ain't going anywhere. Maybe pick another. I really want to breed her with Eli once they both get to breeding age. They are my favorites in the brooder right now.
