Mille Cochin Info

I did for someone that wanted chicks.
They looked like cochins with tails.

In my case... The feather feet was really full and I got a way better Millie pattern. However they all had tails. But was super cute and friendly.

I did keep 1 just to see how she would mature and I did like her. My father in law has her now. And my friend that has the others... I got to see what they looked like as adults. They are cute and very pretty.... Just them tails. Lol

I guess if I wanted mutts.... That would be the cross for sure I would def go with.

OMG! Do you have any photos?!

My chicks I bought (eggs) are getting big. 2ish months old and super cute.
I have 10 boys and 9 girls so waiting to see which boys mature out nice and stay to be future breeders. I wish I could post pics with my phone but will have to bust out the camera and download to computer. I'm also awaiting eggs from Amy of west knoll farm too. Got my fingers crossed for a successful hatch and some girls.

As far as the cross hen... She's a cutie and a good hen. Totally a Cochin attitude all the way even tho she's a duccle cross.

lovely rich base colour coming through on feather. He looks as though he is going ro change a lot. Who are his parents again?

His parents are Nigus and Tuba. I agree that he is looking he will change a lot. For a while he was solid white with a brownish wings but now you can start to see color coming through all over him. He is definitely one I'm watching closely.
