I have several blue milles extra.

I know Blue Mille is not the same as porcelain, but can't find pictures of what they look like... Do you have some you can post?

Hey bantyman. I'd love some red hackle influence. I am getting a lot of mille markings on the breast, but black is just creeping into my flock here and there, especially the roos. I have two pens right now, but they are all mille mottled. I have my mottled roo (split) over mille hens, and I have a mille roo over a lot of mottled hens, most are split. I have a youngster pen growing out, not sure what I will do with what out of that pen. That pen is growing out more white showing. The mille over mottled pen has a lot of extra big spots on the mottled hen. I can't find my camera right now. Might be at my brother's house, but here's what some of the "extra white" hens look like. I have about eight or ten that look about like this, more or less.

Here you can see the black creeping up even in this spring's pullets. To me it looks cool on the hens, but it is disastrous on the boys.

Hey Patty

I think everybody has some of that still going on every now and then But sometimes it just likes to make its prsence known I have one every so often come up with the to much black thing and he gets culled I dont have as much as I used to but still every so often I have a problem with my hens getting WAY to much white Have had some beautiful hens with beautiful markings when pullets but when they get around 2 years old they turn almost white Guess you would call that a "calico" ? Those hens do have a lot of white but the type looks good enough to try and use anyway Then maybe you can get rid of the excess white I have a couple of pullets that appear to be doing real good on the white issue They are about a year old and their color is holding up really good Now if they dont turn white I have some pullets from a millie roo and a mottled hen cross So far they dont have to many spots Hope they stay that way Sometimes I think the to much white comes from the mottled Cause they get more as they get older So maybe the less spots the better ? Their mom is about 2 years old and on this molt she got a few more spots But her type is fantastic so I have to use her anyway If she will co-operate I will get a pic of her Shes a Jamie Matts bird and shows it very well If work will allow me the extra time I will get you some pix of the roos You can have one or all Enough of this for now Gotta get to bed so I can get back to work tomorrow afternoon Makes for a real nice Thanksgiving But you have a good Thanksgiving and enjoy it all you can

Thank you for the pics!!!
Very cool looking birds! Makes me think I really should hatch out the "just in case" eggs I put aside from my Mille hen x Splash roo (he found a new home earlier this week).
How did you make yours?
That second color came from Blue Mille too? X with what? I wonder what you would call that color? Very pretty is what I'd call it!
