Nice pics, everyone... really nice boys, chooklet.

Here are a couple of calico looking birds that need a new home. They are $20 ea plus actual shipping cost.

the guy above has better type but, almost no black and
the guy below is still very nice type but not as nice as the other boy and is showing more of a typical looking "calico" pattern.

I also got a pic of a pullet I bred from a partridgey background. ..not sure how this will end up. YES, she's smutty BUT, this is one of the few girls I have with lots of breast flowers... and really needed her this year. I will keep a few clear patterned birds too so I don't get "stuck" down the road but, Im having some high hopes for this line.

Nice birds everyone!
I just love Millies! I got so lucky when I stumbled across the ones I got. I really love my Partridges too but if I was forced to choose I'd got with the Millies.

Any ideas on how these little ones will turn out? They're just for pets, but how "millie" do you think they'll look or what they'll end up looking like? They are a little over 1 month old

I was just going to send you a PM and ask if you were Nadine

Or ask if you had permission to use her chickie avatar

MsBear, I would take that lightest boy in a heartbeat but I don't think I can get live birds down here right now. It is in the 90's and they won't let me ship anything out. He is totally gorgeous! I could use him on so many of my girls that need very light boyfriends.

HorseFeatherz NV, thanks for watching my back! My avatar is one of my main squeezes! Prince is such a loveable man and doesn't mind the occasional hug. Just not every day!

I wound up with more hens than roos with this last batch of birds. But, of course, they are my Schmoozle/Xavier crosses so there is still a lot of black but I will be selling them with the lighter roos. Got a few folks coming this weekend to pick up some pairs.
Why is it the better colored ones are the least typy!!???

It is a conspiracy to make me lose my mind....wait, been there, done that.

At least your roos have some nice color! That is such a plus. I sold a few roos with the MF colors and some pattern with some Frizzle hens. People like projects and they like color on those chicks they produce.

Hi everyone! Haven't been on in a while as life has been a little bit crazy but wanted to pop in and share a couple updated pics of my babies from Lynne & Nadine (Amy?)

I hatched a pair out of each batch of eggs, and since there was a single "baby daddy" in each case, I'm hoping to swap the pairings and see what I get.
Here they are:

SCOOTER, from Amy's roo "Bantyman", hatched in February. He's getting ready to crow in this pic (it's his favorite thing to do

EMILY, Scooter's hatchmate. Obviously a product of Amy's Mille/Mottled crosses, and a very pretty girl. And sweet, sweet, sweet!

PUCK, hatched from Lynne's eggs at the end of March, by her roo "Domingo". He's a feisty little guuy, and I think if he continues to have lots of white, he will be a good match for Emily.

And lastly, this is SOPHIE, also from Lynne's "Domingo". She is also a very sweet girl, and I'm looking forward to seeing what her color does as she matures.
