They are a cute couple! I love that girl, she looks like one of my girls, is she related to Erin's birds (Ms Bear?) Very nice fall pics!

I think it's a sign telling you that you should stick with the MF and drop a different project. How come when I post someone immediately changes the subject?? So my posts go ignored. :/

LOVE the pictures, Mike!beautiful photos. the two in the bottom photo look like they would make a wonderful pair
Love that pullet! She could be a sister to a hen I have from Erin. The boys are doing great, the not blue marked boy got a bit of the sniffles but I think he is doing ok now. His bigger brother was hogging a lot of resources so I think he wasn't getting to eat much! I put some extra bowls out and gave him some antibiotics and he seems better. They seem to be doing well. I really need to name them! They are very nice! Love that girl. Is Keeper the only one you have from a mille fleur/buff cross? I have a few washed out buff columbian girls and I wasn't going to keep them but maybe it would be worth putting them in a pen with someone.
These birds are all from Nancy except Remington from Lynne and Keeper who I hatched from a cross of Remington with a buff Cochin hen. The bottom two, are Sunshine Roo and Chipper. Nancy would probly know the parents but they are very nice and Sunshine Roo has really taken off and is developing fantastic type.![]()
I had a good scare last night. I am consolidating pens for winter (so they can share heat and unfrozen water). My original mille fleur hen from Lynne was missing at bed time. I combed the whole pen looking for her. Walked around in the dark with a flash light outside the pen, looking everywhere I could think she might roost and couldn't find her. Must have been out there for 45 minutes looking and finally came in near tears telling DH I thought she was gone. (we have a lot of coyotes and one of our LGD is out of commission for a while because she got hit by a car a few weeks ago and is recovering from surgery for two broken legs) Well I went out this morning and there she was in the pen! All soaking wet and looking like a drowned rat because it rained last night but boy was I happy to see her!!!LOVE the pictures, Mike!
Kris these 2 are full brother / sister![]()
Lindsey the older pullet is not related to Erin's birds, but the younger chicks are the same breeding as your boys![]()
