on a side note, my mottleds finally started to lay this week. I got four eggs yesterday and three the day before. They are narrow and pointy and i wouldn't wish them on anyone right now. They are in with the mottled roo because some people need pure mottled eggs. My mille roo is in with the F1 babies and is starting to try to breed them, and their combs are going dark pink toward red.

I just found out some of the cochin eggs in my bator may actually be milles!!!!! Here i was oohing and awhing over hte thought of these boogers and I may have some myself!

It would be nice to get some of mine back in here This time I will have an extra roo or 2 Have 4 hens now so that will be good on them But I guess a couple extras would be good also But anyway got fingers crossed

that your eggs are fertile The eggs I got from Lynne are due to hatch Friday So maybe I will have some new ones when I go to the show Saturday

Ta DA!!! My first F2's hatched!!! There are two that look mottled, one buff, and three that look more like Mille Fleurs!!! Two for sure look mille, one looks darker than the other two mille, more like chocolate tinged black.
Anyhow....
