Millie Fluer, is her coloring good?

Celeste is going to show our 3 D'uccles this year for 4-H. I believe that Emma is a fine specimen as the others only have a little muff and a lot of white in their feathers.

Here is Emma. Does anyone else here show D'uccles?

I have the Mille Fluers also, but definitely am not claiming to be any kind of expert on them. I did want to say that she it lovely though!

Emma is our favorite. She is very beautiful AND very mellow (once you are holding her)

Emma has a little more white around her head than what I normally see, but she's a pretty bird.

I have a video that I took last week. Emma makes an appearance. She is the inquisitive D'uccle that hangs around me. I get some good video of her near the enD.

oh, and you know what.. Emma is just finishing up from a molt.. so maybe some of that white will disappear?

I have some d'uccles also and it is my understanding that they get more white each time they molt. I do love the little chatter boxes.
