Mineral oil for ic?

Is mineral oil good for impacted crop? I have a hen that i have to massage down at least twice a month. Stopped feeding them scratch and it didnt help.

Do they have plenty of water???

I dont use mineral oil since it's a laxative. I do use olive oil, but any veg oil is good.

I give them 5 gal of water per 10 birds per day. Should be more than plenty, right?

It is never more than half empty the next day.
