Hens, & Roosters. I do for most, especially those who tend to be alittle bit more fluffy on the booty.

Interesting. I’ve never thought to do that. Have you made a video about it or is it fairly fool-proof? I wonder if I trim up the hens I want to breed and not the others if it would skew fertilization

I don't have a video, but I can probably make one when I go to do the trimming next week.
Butt fluff trimming is fairly straight forward, but it also depends on how much you wanna remove.

Don’t make a video just on my account. I imagine once I catch them it ain’t no thing. Don’t have a lot of fluffy butts anymore but I really need my chickens to start making chicks this spring. I lost two pullets and a cockerel this last cold snap and I had plans for that cockerel. I’m hesitant to buy more when breeding season is so close but I’m also all ears for any way to make that season more successful.
