Mini coop and run for our chicks.

Is this mini coop/run in the big coop or run?


Was thinking that's about all this mini-coop lacks.

This will be in the run.

Right now our overnights are still dipping into the teens so im waiting another couple weeks until i put this outside full time

It looks nice, but I would be concerned about putting this on your patio with chicken wire on it. The chicken wire will only contain your chickens, it will not keep predators out. I apologize if I missed something.

No problem our porch is basically a 3 seasons room. It's all enclosed like an entryway into the house.

Well the coop has been in the run with the larger chickens for 1 week and today we have the one end lifted enough for the chicks to be able to run in and out. Hoping all goes as planned one of my EE and one RIR is giving the chicks a hard time when they are together in the run (while be supervised) but the other 4 could care less. I've noticed it is usually only when we give them lettuce or scratch grain where they don't like the chicks coming in where they are eating.

We have 6 more ISA browns we will be introducing at the end of May. I'm hoping the integration of the ISA browns will be easy with the amount of new chicks being introduced.

Now I just need to build a bigger coop for the winter.
