Yes, if you don't have a turner you have to open it to turn the eggs 3 times a day. To me the turner is worth the extra 40 bucks.

You can check around but it would be easier ordering from the us. I hand turned and it was a pain. I got a 50% hatch. If you use a turner your hatch rate may be higher

you only tune the eggs three times a day. And what do you thinke happens to the eggs whene the mother leaves them?
They cool off a little bit but thats ok because the mother comes back befor the eggs get cold. And the dome incubators don't work. I have one it has never hached one out yet. So I use the a big one that holds about 400 quail eggs and 300 chicken eggs.

My DD's turned our mini dome incubator into a space ship. they painted it and hung it in there room. About the only thing it was good for, LOL
