Hi everyone,
I set some lovely porcelain d'anver eggs on Thursday. I candled them yesterday and today. Thankfully, only one had to be discarded. But there is one I'm concerned about. The embryo is MUCH, MUCH tinier than the others. I could see its heart beating, so it is definitely alive.
In comparison to other porcelain d'anver eggs, I'd say this embryo is less than 1/4 the size and less developed in appearance (no visible eye, veining was minimal). All eggs were mailed to me by the same person. They came from the same stock, and were set on the same day.
Has anyone seen this before?
