You had me until you mentioned Lutefisk! I tell my relatives that eating Lutefisk is a bit like eating snake. You can eat it, but why when there is so many other better tasty fish to eat!

I've heard a lot of "yep, that stored that food, but not sure I really want to try that again" but also a lot of "that's interesting, I wouldn't invite it in, but I also wouldn't kick it out of bed" types of experiences
