I will be getting ten chicks in the next couple of weeks. After reading a lot of threads on this forum I think I'm ready for chicks. Thanks to everyone for the great information and advice.

I have 10 turkeys, 6 too many geese. 6 skittish keets, and around 100 chickens. 80 of which will be in the freezer by thanksgiving.

Oh and about 30 mutant pheasant embryos due to hatch August 6th. No idea what I am going to do with them....Anyone want them?

And I am getting my second bunch of CornishX's on July 31. I plan to try and free range them. This will be my second group this summer. My first are in the freezer.


BTW I was glad to see a Minnesota forum!
