Minnesota!

Cyrus, I have to semi agree with EJB. BUT I think if you can skip the kids part and go right to the grandkids part, you will be way happier!

My kids can't understand why I like my grandkids more than I like them, I assume my kids have broken mirrors.

BTW It is amazing how quiet the yard is today with just one turkey in prison.

I agree Ralphie, skip the kids & go straight to the Grands. The best pictures are when you can get the grands & chickens (or in my case, dogs & 'pacas also) all in one picture. I'm training them to be Nana's partner in crime. I have them 3 days a week so that's plenty of time to corrupt them.

@lalaland congrats on the first grand this Oct! We also have another grandson due in Oct., #3 for our daughter.

Todays progress.. as interested as my neighbors are still no one offers to help when they see me trying to lift and hold boards so i can screw them in...yet they are all waiting for eggs.. Reminds me of a story...LOL...
Wow your gonna one heck of a coop! Nice work

Nice work, I am surprised you could do this in the city limits. I don't think I could legally do this out here in the "country" ( township) without the permit people having a hissy fit.

my birds would love to munch on those hostas

Your birds need to be better trained. I have my birds trained so well they will enter my DW's tomato patch and pick the bugs off the plants and not hurt one single tomato. They pick the wormy things off my dear elderly Mothers lettuce, without so much as tasting the smallest tad of greens.

If you need help training yours I am available to consult with you for a discounted initial consultation. Please send cash to arrange the consultation.
