Minnesota!

Alas! My coffee maker is on the fritz! It would only brew about half a cup of coffee in one go and it took twice as long as a whole cup usually takes :( i think the pump is pooping out in it. It is the smallest keurig model and has served its purpose. I might try running vinegar through it to see if it is just plugging with hard waster crud. Hopefully it will last a little longer

I have 6 girls I got them in May they were about 10 days old, we love having them, but I'm having issues with one them laying her eggs from the roost,

That can happen when they are still learning how the whole egg laying thing works. I've had that and more with my younger girls lately. Eggs in the run, soft or no she'll eggs.

They will eventually regulate and figure things out.

I found that putting a golf ball in the nest box helped encourage them to use the nest and it sped things along.

This is a disaster! Ours pooped out in June. We were forced to buy a new one. The new one is terrible. It is fussy on which cups it uses. It will not take a normal k cup. The fake inserts work but not well.

The coffee is not as good as it was in the old one.

Good luck

I really like not having to use filters (I use a refillable k cup) but even at its peak I think the machine is slow, especially when I am making my 2 travel mugs to bring to work since I have to run it twice. I think I may try a different brand when this one dies. Something with a reusable filter basket would be nice. That way I can start it and forget it until I'm ready to pour my coffee and go to work.

The one we have now has a larger cup for making 5 cups at once in a pot. They call it a craffe. How silly coffee goes into a pot. Wine comes from a craffe.

We use the refillables most the time. on lazy days we use the k cups. When we use the k cups we get brewing options the refillables does not give us.

the thing that bugs is she used to lay in the nesting box every day until the other chickend started to lay then she started this, I have gotten 2 eggs from her only by putting box under her at night

The last puppy available is Piglet, a white females who got her name when she was born for being the biggest eater. She is a mix between calm and playful and would be great for a family with younger children.
PM me if you know anybody who's interested!
Just curious about these dogs... Do they stay in the yard or are they wanderers? I live by a busy road, will they stay off it? I know they are supposed to be good with chickens, does this mean they are also good against coons, skunks and the like? And the big question, how expensive are they?

I think I may have shot myself in the foot...
A few weeks back DW went away on a long girls weekend. I busted my buns to not only finish my own to-do list but also to clean the whole house, do all the laundry, dishes, and clean out her garage stall which has been full of crap for months.

She is leaving for a nursing home conference for the rest of the week and says to me 'I can't wait to see what you accomplish this time...'

I've set the standard to high

I suppose the house could use a little more cleaning
You could always come clean my house..I would let your DW come and "see what you accomplished"

My DH brought me a box of Chocolate Mountain candies Saturday when he got home. Perhaps it was because I gave his so much crap when he bought a box for our friend's birthday last month and he doesn't get me squat - EVER!!! You want to know the last time I got flowers from him? 1993!
Flowers??? What are those? I vaguelly (sp) remember something that smelled nice once...about 27 years ago.... before we got married.

I have a friend that told me when she got married her mother's advice was "never pick up a pliers or start a lawn mower." LOL No wonder I am in so much trouble.
My mom complained about the stupid thing she did during hunting season. The guys where all out in the woods and she wanted some steaks for supper. Long story short, she butchered the deer they had hanging and every one since then.
