Minnesota!

Next year we plan on it. By the time we thought of it, it was too late. We raised lots of broilers and have given many out to friends and to the food shelf instead of turkeys. That way those who were to late to sign up at least get a nice 6-7 lb. chicken. After all it is thanks for giving.
 
We raised two toms but ended up selling them because our children refused to eat them. They became too enduring to them. Maybe next year!
 
LOL. That's what I'm afraid would happen to us! I hear those Turkeys can be really nice pets.
I found these ones to be very curious, not exactly friendly. I enjoyed raising them except for the smell when they were confined. They were raised in a pasture from the time they were big enough to be outside.
