Minnesota!

Anyone recommend an area near Minneapolis that is safe and I can raise my chickens? Might have to move there.
You can raise your chickens in Minneapolis. Minneapolis has some great areas to live in. Bit like all cities. Some not so great ones as well. It's all pretty safe though. Per capita the crime is about the same as country living.

2 Pilgrim geese (Metzer Farms stock) looking for new homes. They're both 10 weeks old. They've been hand-raised, so they're comfortable with people.

Near Buffalo, MN. PM me if interested.

Minnesota here really looking forward to -28 windchill (not) how is everybody’s chicken ladies holding up in this lovely weather I put a bunch of pine shavings on the coop floor that helps insulate I think they like to stand in them when they aren’t roosting

Anyone else have that problem?
Im accross mississippi river in WI. My chickens molted last fall. They are staying inside. I dont even leave the door open I know they wont go out. They usually make a hike to the house for treats, but when this cold they stay inside.
I thru some straw on floor give them something to do.
They will be out next week only couple more days temps will rise up.
Starting to get more eggs, but slow.
