Do you brew beer? I haven't for a long time, but I want to again. I was wondering how much of the leftovers you can give to the chickens?

My counters were put in today. They damaged my walls and cut my sink off center so the edges are over 2 inches off. Ruined some beautiful granite. ARRRG! They had better fix this problem.

I would suspect that you can give any and all of the spent grains to the birds. Hops are probably a no-no as they are poisonous to many animals.

If you are looking for brewing equipment send me a PM and I could hook you up. I have a ton but since my brother moved out of state I have lost interest as that was kind of our thing. It is just sitting in my basement now.

AussieGirl and Ralphie Unless that Eagle or Hawk was dipped in Gravy sauce my cats wont bother...a mouse could play with their whiskers and i don't think they would bother to move.

How frustrating!! Nothing more frustrating than being so excited and looking forward to something like your counter tops and then they are wrong. Sending it back, fix the problems, and hope they get it right. I hope they are covering the cost. When I put my counters in this house they told me all measurements were up to me and if the counter is cut wrong I have to eat the price to fix it. No pressure on my end JEESH!! Hope it goes better for you!!

Day 1 with my milk crate nests was a flop. Had 8 eggs in 1 box and 2 on the floor. Seems nobody wants to use the bottom row on the new crates or the old boxes. That was an easy enough tweak - only One row now! Hopefully they can all get along now. I'm tired of poopy eggs
