Minnesota!

Welcome new comers!!!

Oh yes I am back from a long fair week!!!!! I placed last in my beef class but my cow was almost best behaved.

How have ya'll been??!! I didnt read my 200+ posts so thats why I ask.
Holm-I am glad you made it through the fair chaos! And you set the bar high for the other cattle folk to have best behaved! Speaks highly of you to have well behaved livestock!

Welcome back holm! Heres a couple of pics with the girls out roaming this morning. I think they were happy to see me after this long weekend being away.

Holm, good job at the fair, They judge on genetics at the fair, you have little control over that at your age. Behavior is based on time spent with the animal.

Gofeedthegirls. good pictures, When I first saw them I was going to revoke your membership in the redneck club. The last picture saved you.....I blew it up and saw junk! Then I went backwards through them. You are in!!! The extension cord helped but the red lawn mower with the gas can in the yard sealed it for you, Good job!

EJB, I may be an old chicken wrangler, but I am willing to try new modern ideas. Hence the cold bath for my hen. As a chicken wrangler I have decided to have regular Saturday night baths for all chickens. I am going to force them to stand in a straight line and jump in the bucket when it is there turn. I will use warmer water for them. I do not want them to get arthritis.

A clean bird is a happy bird. after all.

PS GFTG had the lawn tractor been green things may have turned out worse for you...

Here I wasn't even going to put in my application for redneck membership since the list is long that I don't qualify based on other applications. But if a couple broken down lawn mowers in the yard, broken down vehicles in the yard, and extension cords running through count then maybe I should! Do I have a chance?

You live in Makinin.... Is there anyway you would not qualify?

BTW where exactly is downtown Makinin? I must have missed the Walmart.

Ralphie-It is spelled Makinen. And if you saw a few houses closer together that was downtown. If you wanted walmart that was 30 miles ago in Mt.Iron. BTW I technically live in Palo which is even more unincorporated than Makinen believe it or not. There is just a dot on a map called Palo.
So are you saying that my choosing to live on the Range makes me an automatic member of your super redneck club?

As someone from Orrock, (which I can find downtown in because of the liquor store and gas station)

I have to say.... maybe... I have heard of Palo, but no idea where it is.

Sorry about the misspell.. I have a friend buried in the Makinen cemetery, I assumed that was the down town. Oh and BTW the more remote of a place you live in the better...... To me being a redneck is a badge of honor.

For the record not all rangers qualify. I have a BIL and SIL that live between Makinen and Gilbert or ( the town with the purple parrot that I could never spell) and they would never make into the super redneck club and would be PO'd if someone thought they might be.
