Yesterday was chilly, the cheeser and I made chicken and dumplings to warm up. It was in the 50s by dinner

We made the run up to the border and tossed a few rocks over the pigeon since we couldn't cross.

Stopped off at Sven and Oles pizza for lunch in grand Marais today, quite good!

I'm looking forward to getting back to the farm Saturday morning. It has been an amazing trip but we are starting to itch for home a little

I picked up a real estate magazine in grand Marais out of curiosity. If anyone is interested in moving up north to raise their chickens in the shadow of Lake Superior, a nice house on 24 acres can be had for the low low price of $669,000!

North Shore Poultry has a nice ring to it....

OK back to work,,, this is what ive done so far today... already tired but oh well....

wow, look at you go! My husband and I went to the fair today, just got home, I'm trying to get him out here to work on my run, he doesn't seem inclined however... it was a heck of alot of people to deal with, very draining for him, and me. Neither one of us can stand crowds. I'm not prejudiced, I hate everyone. - my redneck quote for the day

@duluthralphie fantastic coop. Well thought out. You should put that room splitting wall on those springy hinge things that you use for the pull down ladder for the crawl space over the garage, then you'd just have to lift it up and out of the way.
