@duluthralphie fantastic coop. Well thought out. You should put that room splitting wall on those springy hinge things that you use for the pull down ladder for the crawl space over the garage, then you'd just have to lift it up and out of the way.

The top half spins up the bottom half pivots to the south.

Cluckies , you can see where the hinge for lifting the center up. that hook hanging down is what I use for the hinge. I thought I had a better picture, but I do not..
I cab either take that part down or just swing it up. and drive under it.


There are just hooks holding the top part to the part on the bottom.

@duluthralphie I totally get your sentiments about camp day. It's not a fun thing, nor should it be something to be excited for. It's something we must do and should do responsibly. My DW couldn't handle it this year but she knows my opinion on that. Everyone needs to do it, even if only once, to understand the gravity of where our food comes from and what it costs.

P.s. The 3 S's are what I was trying to think of when wolves were the subject the other night.

Today I was kayaking for the first time on Crooked Lake near nashwauk and had this thought "if I had an anchor I could fish in this thing. For bullheads. I wonder if I could get a point on the redneck quiz for wanting to fish. Probably not, since I'm in a kayak." I shared this thought with my sister (her kayaks). She agreed the kayak negated any redneck status. I felt proud of my sister for taking this conversation in stride.
