A short glimpse into my life for the last week

I dont use rat poison despite my rodent population.  About 2 years ago my hound dog got ahold of a dead mouse while she was visiting the nursing home.  The nursing home uses poison to keep their rodent population away.  Long story short she was bleeding from the gums and her teeth were getting loose.  An emergency run to the vet got her a very painful shot of some anti-poison concoction and then a 10 day perscription of Vitamin K pills.  it took a few weeks for her teeth to get back to normal/not so sensitive.

basically what i am getting at.... if you have pets that could eat the poison or the poisoned rodents, i would think twice
I know. I had a cat go thru the same thing years ago. But I am desperate. I have been Unable To get them under control. I wouldn't use the kind that practically killed the cats and dogs and varmints that eat the dead rats but I understand it is still risky

Liver is one of my favorite meats, I a hoping no one else wants their chicken liver Saturday so I can get a couple bags full.
i bagged up all of my livers into seperate packages and i am excited to have enough chicken liver to actually do something with. My last batch from my grandma had the giblets stuffed back in each bird and if I put them in the freezer they always seemed to freezer burn or get chucked...
