My pet duck, Beepers, picked a fight with a rooster today. He got pecked pretty hard. It seems kinda deep. He can eat and drink normally, and is acting normal. I just don’t want it to get infected, and I’m not sure what to do. It can probably heal by itself, but I need to protect it from infection.

Well do you think Beepers has learned not to mess with the roo? lol

Put some ACV into the drinking water 1-2 Tablespoons to a gallon it will help heal and it can also kill off some bacteria. When my gander punched a hole in his bill that's what I used and it healed fine.

He’s very protective of me, and he thought he was defending me from the rooster lol. Thanks for the tip, will do.
