My pullet had a big squishy crop last night, and bad sour breath. This morning her crop had gone down, but she still had stinky breath. Other than that, she seems healthy, wants to eat, etc. I saw that ALL recomendations for sour crop start with isolating and with-holding feed for 12 - 24 hours. I have caught her and isolated her with just water + ACV.
I feel really bad doing that though. Seeing as her crop did go down, is it really neccesary to with-hold feed? For 12 hours?
