Miracle- Hello! guinea/chicken crossbreed

No, I'm not seeing that yet. The other two have wattles forming but not Miracle. No comb either. We'll see how it goes. I guess these crosses are all individuals with different traits. It's going to be interesting! I'll keep updating as he grows.

I must say, that is the best looking Guinea cross I've ever seen!

I've never heard if a Guinea/Chicken cross has a Guinea or a chicken voice, or a blend of the two. Anyone know?

A friend of mine hatched a GuineaXSalmon faverolle about 4 yrs back.
She had about 40 or so guinea eggs hatching in the bator and had this oddball chicks right in the middle of it with the wrong colouration, feathered legs and muffs. Took her a sec to figure out it was a hybrid(she has the salmon favs ranging with the guineas).

Grew up into this odd looking bird(was female by the way), that moved like a guinea(always sorta hunched up looking), but very chicken like features and feathers(the feathered legs and puffy cheeks looked so adorable). No comb or wattles(or helmet) ever appeared on the bird. The noises it made were like a very high pitched chicken'ish cluck and a non-discribable high pitched scream(a male golden pheasants call in spring is the closest comparison I can think of). Not a very chatty bird, and only laid a few eggs(I think they were kind of inbetween look wise, cream colour but a bit more the guinea form then the chicken).

It lived about 3 yrs before it died. Heavily arthritic by the time it was that age.
Here is a picture of it at 2 yrs old.

Now I want to catch one of the feral Guinea's in the neighborhood to the south of us and put it in the coop with our Blue Wheaten Roo and do some incubation.

Oh my god, that Guinea and Naked Neck cross looks like A BUZZARD! No joke! And what a beautiful cross, that Miracle

I would love to see the adult! When he is an adult, at least, lol

Thank you so much for sharing this info about your friend's cross! The little chicks are always cute but that one was pretty as an adult too. I would be thrilled if Miracle could live 3 years. You answered a lot of questions I have been curious about. I know Miracle may not have the same traits as your friends but I'm grateful to know more details from another cross.
