Wow! Love this post! I concur with the book idea. Our daughter was born with some serious health problems and I know she would love to read about a chicken that was born different too. It would be good for all kids actually. SO glad that Miracle is alive and well. I'll show this post to our little miracle Ella in the morning! Ours was a girl............just sayin!

I would say, Miracle's life has the makings of a GREAT childrens book. Besides, M is looking fine and his buds are birds that MANY do not know alot about. Start writing Mena and take lots of pics !!

I have never posted anything online before but we recently had a chance to meet Miracle the Gentle Giant. We are city slickers from Chicago and went down too visit where Miracle lives. We had heard so much about Miracle, and I really didn't know what to expect but what a treat. Miracle and his/her two buddies are so much fun to watch. We arrived in our motorhome and all of the birds seemed to be pretty interested in it. I think they thought it was a giant Canadian Goose. They would circle and hang out around our front door. Who would think that these animals would be so entertaining, from the moment we arrived they came running up to us making alot of noise. They do love to dig up the flower beds however.
I was able to collect some of their feathers, especially Miracle's and have added them to a flower arrangment on the mantel. We enjoyed our visit and know Miracle will go on to be a great author. Miracle has had a tough go from the beginning, but can teach us all a few things in life.
