It is a great time to be a bird. All of the birds I know have been very busy working in the fields and finding lots of good things to eat. Everyone is so excited. Especially me. It is my first spring EVER so I am seeing lots of new things. I didn't know there would be green grass and flowers popping up.
We work all day long on the days when it isn't raining and most of the time even when it is raining. There is always food in the coop but the things we find in the grass are the best!
One day I was in the coop resting and Sweetie came running in all scared and frantic. She said "There is something big outside! I don't know what it is.
It is the color of a goose but it can't fly and it is sitting right outside! " She was just beside herself. My chicken family is scared of most everything but not my guinea family! My chicken family is pretty quiet but my guinea family is NOT! All the guineas got together and went out to see what the big fuss was about. They marched right up to that big goose squalking really loud. Most of the time when they squalk at something like that, whatever it is usually can't stand the noise and leaves. Well, this goose didn't budge. It stayed right there. One of the feathers on the side of the goose opened up and PEOPLE came out of it. I saw them! They threw out cat food because there are cats on our farm and they love cats. They didn't know that us birds love cat food too. From then on all the birds, chickens and guineas alike, loved the big goose. Even Sweetie came out to eat with us. Of course, the cats loved it too.
Bella, the kitten, loved the big goose so much that she got in it. One day the goose made a big roaring sound and went away. Bella and the people were inside it. Those silly chickens thought it ate them but I heard Mena telling Chicken Chicken that Bella went to Chicago to be a city kitty. She said we shouldn't worry about her because she will have a wonderful life there and the people will love her and be very good to her. She won't get to run in the grass and play in the hay room but she will have lots of fun in the house with the other cats.
Scrappy, the cat, comes to visit sometimes. He spent several days with us last week because he had a hurt foot. As soon as his foot got better he left again. He is not a mean cat but sometimes I have to make sure he knows he had better not jump on me. I give him the stinkeye just so he knows that. He pretends to be sleeping but I know he is really scared.
I wish you would work on a book for children. Mena could take you to some book store and you could meet alot of your fans big and small. With each book they could get a copy of your picture to make it every special. There are alot of grownups on this site that I'm sure would preorder your book. I want to be first. You probably have enough material for one book now. IF you like it next could be "Further adventures of Miracle and his friends."
I know we(your fans) tend to nag you too much but actually your story has already been written on his forum. You just need to put it together as pages. I'm sure most of us still have alot of child inside. I know I miss the days I used to read to my son. He is all grown up so he doesn't need me to read. Children books are still my favorites because they have an innocence that allows for miracles.Iy would be wonderful if everyone could see the world through the eyes of a child and you. Love, and hope Easter brings you nice surprises.

Thank you, Drumstick Diva. I am writing stories now and working on it. I have no idea how one goes about the whole process but am ready to learn. Thanks so much for your encouragement. I appreciate you and everyone else who enjoys reading about Miracle's life. S/he is beautiful - just in a different way.
