Does it have a hard shell?
Is there a yolk inside?
Would be nice too, @mothaducker (hilarious screename!), to have a quarter for scale in the pic.

I had not seen one like that until recently when someone posted a pic very similar in a group of odd eggs they have saved over the years. I think it was @ChickenCanoe?

I still say if it only happens once, it's not a problem. If it becomes a regular occurrence then something is going on but I would not have a clue on how to fix it.

It looks like 2 eggs melded together, was it a double yolk?

Thanks! It does have a hard shell. Seems to be same texture and strength as their regular eggs. Not sure about yolk yet- I haven’t cracked it open.
