Miserable...may have to cull

I'm with you wildorchid053! I would only cull if there was a severe injury, the bird was suffering and there was absolutly NO chance of recovery. I raise my own eggs because of the cruelty involved in commercial production and culling just isn't the way I would deal with an illness but everyone must do what they feel in their hearts is right.
 
from what I have read birds only shed the disease when they are having symptoms themselves. I would cloise your flock and isolate any that do get sick until better. This way when they are most contagious they are not with the others. Looks like you are doing all you can and that they will get over this hard part. They will always have it but when it is not showing they will be fine.
