Had seen your post last night but I had no advice to offer- glad you found your chicken though!!

My daughter said this hen came over to her and made friendly sounds and then let her pick her up with no fuss. This chicken never does that! She must have really missed everyone. I keep thinking of the minion who is always like "buddies!"

I walked two miles over two hours looking and calling this morning. At least I burnt a lot of calories.

The dark ones here are hers. The green ones are from our Easter egger. The light brown are our barred rock (the leader), buff Brahma (the talkative one), and our buff orphinton. We got them all at Meyer. She is probably our most consistent layer, this carton was our 12 most recent eggs, considering there were three light brown layers and they only layed one more total then she did that shows how much she lays.
