This is so nuts. She wont stand, just flops to the side with her legs out. But she can move them. I did a full workup on her tonight and everything moves how it should. But when i go to put her on the floor, she doesnt sprawl her toes out or position her legs at all. I did notice her tail looks a little crooked. If she had a lower spinal cors injury, would that cause that? And would she still be able to move her legs at all?
I have Dexamethasone, could that help? And if so, whats the doseage?

I think you are dealing with something temporary, but I am not a vet. Do you have access to a vet? I think you need an X-ray. Don't let them tell you they need to sedate her- they don't, and especially her because she is not walking. I would not do dexamethasone for this reason:
Dexamethasone use may result in delayed wound healing and increased susceptibility to infection. Use concurrent antibiotics to cover if there is a risk or pre-existing infection. Viral infections may be exacerbated.

If you do not have meloxicam, then a half of a baby aspirin NOTE: again, the aspirin could be a problem if she is internally bleeding.

No vet near here that deals with chickens and its 150 to have onr come out. If i do that, my husband will kick my butt haha!!I have meloxicam! Whats the dose?
0.5 mg/kg, 1 kg is 2.2 pounds.
My husband will not dare say anything about my chickens going to the vet. I have 2 going this week.

Oh geez. Good luck! Shes still doing the same. I have her in a sling and she doesnt seem to be in pain which concerns me. Im gonna give her some more time and see what happens
