Em just doesn't do well with such things. For one, I hear you have to be pretty. Strike one. Two, it helps to be smart and all that right? Nope, strike two. Third you have to have some sort of talent right? Strike three, Em is outta here.




Besides, I hear they make you dress up? I have two pairs of shoes, one pair of flip flops, and a pair of running shoes. That's it. I don't own a dress, and I don't think I've worn one in about 8 years...

Hey, spook, I hope she wins. It's way cool when it's a "local" gal and she's down-to-earth and an all around good person.

We had that here when Katie Stam won a couple of years ago. The hard part was, she was so busy, there weren't a lot of opportunities for her to get back home, LOL.

I used to work at the local hotel where they have the Miss Michigan contest here in Muskegon. I met the lady that won miss Michigan and went on to win the Miss America title. Finest lady I have ever met. Some of the girls really work hard and want to do something good. Just not quite my cup of tea
