So my 4yr old 'tiel Dee Dee decided to not interact with me today.
mmmmmmmm.... how odd? She loves attention! But for some reason, just for today, she doesn't want it?
There is a first time for everything right? Maybe she has had enough head scratches? I tried tempting her with some treats. It didn't work! I know she is such a pickle but she is usually good with me?
Anyway, I checked on my birdies through out the day and still no love from miss Dee, this evening I tried extra hard to get her to come over. Sweet talk, kisses and whistling, which have always worked before, like every other day of her life!? but for today she just gave me *the look* - you know, the I'm not impressed and I disprove of everything you do human slave - look. Plus she let out a little hiss and a squeal!
<-- I was quiet upset! "Oh no my baby princess Dee Dee why don't you love me? WHY?WHY?"
Anyway she didn't like my hat. Yeah that was the point of this story.
I don't wear hats much - if at all, and I forgot I was wearing it today.
She did eventually come over to me but her eyes were popping out of her head!
"Were is your hair? You know I like to chew it! What the hell is this?"
The hat got a bite of approval... at the end of the day!
How dare I wear a hat.
