[Hangin Wit My Peeps]

My blue boy (the one I had to rescue from his egg) crowed for the first time today! I can't wait to show him off. His comb is amazingly perfect so far...he's just a young one (hatched Nov 10th) but he sure looks good

And Lexi our little splash girl is beautiful too. I'm so happy with these two. I got pictures but hubby has to put them on here for me! UGH! I'm going to pressure him tonight

Here he is as a little guy but he's MUCH bigger now LOL
OH and on top of crowing...he's wanting to mate lexie and she's just not havin it! He has a polish in there too who just started laying eggs so maybe she will be ok with it

I have some great looking BBS Orp chicks from MP's eggs as well!

You will see him start to darken up. I have had a variety of blue roos from my pens. Some just too dark they look dull black. Some silvery blue and their saddle and hackle feathers sparkle like glitter. Then those that meet the standard and look like Wheeler and Mosby. All different yet the same.

OH I can't wait to see him all grown up. He's such a nice boy too

Very calm and respectful I tried to get a nice pic of his NEW self but my camera battery was dead! So I'm going to try again tonight.
