Your bread will be fabulous.

I have a new cast iron dutch oven I am trying to season. I want to do bread in it over the fire.

Will do some photos inside and out,.....the gardens I have pics of from last year so will post those....it's not as big as you think it is...its biggish, but these old houses where built with lots of smallish rooms...I like big rooms. but in the olden days I suppose it made the rooms easier to keep warm.....what I love, is the hand made stair rails and bannisters, with their hand made nails still in them...200 years old and still going strong, the attic (loft) the size of the original oak beams in there! they giants..literally...then there is the cellar......spooky am not going down there, never do don't like it...the original well to the house is still here and it runs right underneath still to this day, the cellar floods when we have a lot of rain, the steps down to the spooky place are original sandstone and you can see the wear and tear on the steps of all those who have gone before me....a fine old house which hs stood the test of time....and hopefully always will....lots of maintenance work though...

EC legs it in case a spider jumps out from behind cellar door! I know one biggy lives just behind the door near the top step......scary music inserted...du du du du du du.......

just do like my DD, keep a shoe in there just for whacking spiders. (she has a shoe in her bathroom for such emergencies.)
