They do squeeze into tiny spaces when hiding,it may sound silly but I would get down on all 4's and crawl around a bit in the barn just to check. I had one that got into a spot that she could not get out of (apparently she doesn't have reverse). Good luck.
My barn is huge, three stories, 158 feet long, plus a milking parlor. She's on her own if she's stuck somewhere! But seriously, I hope not. It's so danged WINDY out too, it's hard to watch for movement or listen for sound. I'll keep you posted.
