Missing belly feathers, wobbly legs...so confused

If you don’t think that she has coccidiosis and stop treatment with Corid, you can use vitamin B complex 1/4-1/2 tablet daily which has riboflavin and all B’s.

I don't think she does, but I wanted to wait to see what the vet said about the fecal float before stopping the medicine. I only suspected coccidiosis from her last fecal float a few weeks ago. If they can get me the results today, I'll hold off until then. I have vitamin B complex here already, so thank you for that suggestion!!

I appreciate all the advice!

My chicken now has diarrhea. I'm assuming this isn't typically a symptom of vitamin deficiency? I'm leaning even more toward it being Marek's disease. :(

I'm hoping to hear back from the vet tonight or early tomorrow about the fecal float.

Update - still haven't heard back from the vet. Started her on colloidal silver 3x a day, eggs with garlic and turmeric once a day, St. Johns Wort, turkey tail and cranberry gel capsules. So far this morning she's not doing any worse. Still has diarrhea, but a tiny bit more solid. She's also still trying to stand and walk. It's her right leg that's not working properly and has her toes curled, but even with that her toes look a little more straight today. She's still social and eating well. Continuing to pray and care for her, believing she'll make a full recovery!

Diarrhea can be sign of coccidiosis and many things. Are you still giving Corid? If not are you giving any riboflavin or B complex for the curled toes?

I am still giving corid. I didn’t want to stop until I heard back from the vet, today is day 4 of that medicine. I have the B complex on standby for when I hear back about the fecal float.

Update - Heard back from the vet. She said the number of coccidia in the stool was high, so treating with Corid was a good call. She said she suspected something else going on to weaken the immune system, allowing the coccidia to gain a foothold. She suspected a deficiency of some kind, or Marek's. Soo, confirming all we already sort of suspected. I'm going to start the B complex this evening and give Corid for one more day. She said starting the vitamin early was ok and what she recommended.

The only thing I'm clinging to here is the fact that she's missing all those belly feathers. Because that seems like more of a deficiency than Marek's from what I've read. Not much of an update, but that's where we are.

Quick update - She started having more solid poos last night. She had one today that looked completely normal! I checked on her a few times today and she was standing on both feet!! Still very wobbly, and I'm not sure whether or not it's a fluke, but she was on her right foot with her toes out straight and she hadn't been able to do that.

I'm going to take her out today since we're having a warmer day and see if she's able to get around in the grass at all, still separated from the other chickens by about an acre. I just don't want her getting depressed being cooped up inside constantly.
