I HOPE SOMEONE SEES THIS SOON. IM TOO NERVOUS TO LOOK AT SO MANY POSTS ABOUT MISSING FEATHERS.

I have a pure white chick. I dont know if it's a boy or girl. But I do know that it's at least 3 wks old. I swear it was just fine yesterday & today Im freaking out because it has a bear breast. I also notice that the comb area & around the mouth is reddish. I dont know what else to say except the other 5 chicks seem to be fine & they do run at each other & jump up and down. Ill try to get a new pic of the chick in question as soon as I can. Help

All chicks rear up at each other, whether or not they are pullets or cockerels. It probably is not injured unless you see bloody or other signs like that. It might just be starting to loose some of the baby chick fuzz getting ready to grow regular feathers. The red could be an early developing cockerel. I would not worry too much, unless you aren't allowed to have any roosters, but it is still probably a little early to tell.

Oh thank you so much! I did notice that the others were missing fuzz..but not bare like this one. If it's a little roo..Im not surprised. He makes me laugh the most out of all of them. I named him Piper due to the loud peeping he did when I brought him home. Oh..there's no blood..nope.

I just looked again and some of the others have reddish skin here & there, but I suppose that it's because of feathers coming in. I will check on them more often. Thanks again!
