Missing chicken toes

So recently me and my mom have found that something has been eating our silkies toes, most of our rooster silkies are missing 1-2 toes and we can’t figure out why? They don’t seem to be in pain or struggling to walk but its very concerning to see. How can we prevent this?

Assuming you aren't experiencing sub freezing weather, it is most likely rats. To control rats you control the feed. Stop feeding them, they leave or die.

Ignore any of the silly methods people suggest, baking soda, mint, essential oils, traps, find his article on the three methods of rodent control, sanitation, exclusion, and elimination. Understand that the best method is sanitation, when done right the other two are not needed and far more costly or ineffective.
